Alberto-Giovanni Busetto is a Swiss-Italian executive, entrepreneur, and innovator, currently serving as the Chief AI Officer at HealthAI – the Global Agency for Responsible AI in Health. He is also a member of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Councils and the OECD’s Expert Group on AI in Health. Previously, he held the roles of Group SVP Head of Data & AI at The Adecco Group and Global Head of Data Science & AI at Merck Healthcare. With a doctorate with Medal from ETH Zurich, he has also served as faculty in AI at the University of California, Santa Barbara, and founded the Intelligent and Predictive Systems Laboratory. Recognized among the nation’s outstanding early-career engineers by the US National Academy of Engineering Frontiers of Engineering and as the US Big Data Chair of the Japan-America Frontiers of Engineering, his two decades of experience span leadership in intelligent product development across healthcare, fintech, electronics, professional services, and engineering sectors globally.
