Daniel Sokolowski is a research assistant and Ph.D. candidate in the Programming Group of the Institute of Computer Science at the University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and holds a Master of Science in Internet- and Web-based Systems from the Technical University of Darmstadt, Germany. He was a developer at Lufthansa and CTO at a co-founded software startup.
Daniel’s research focuses on software engineering for secure software systems. His contributions especially concern software configuration and operations automation through reliable Infrastructure as Code and are published in top software engineering venues.
