Florian Badertscher is Chief Operating Officer at Bug Bounty Switzerland and one of Switzerland’s leading cybersecurity experts, with 20 years in the field. In 2015, he launched Switzerland’s first bug bounty program for the entire Swisscom Group – spanning all Group companies and systems in highly regulated domains (Swiss telecoms law, FINMA, and Swiss data protection law) – and led it with his team until 2021. Earlier, he worked as a security analyst and incident responder in Swisscom’s CSIRT, and as a security analyst, pentester and auditor at Compass Security. He is deeply connected in the security community, regularly speaks at tech talks, and serves on the Swiss Federal Council’s advisory board for digital identity as an expert. He holds an Executive MBA (Bern University of Applied Sciences / Fudan University Shanghai), a BSc in IT Security, and is an OSSTMM Professional Security Tester.
