Georges De Moura serves as vice president of information security and group CISO at EDGE Group, the largest defense contractor in the Middle East region. He has 20+ years of experience in information technology and cybersecurity across multiple industries, including aerospace, defense, and Aviation. Before taking on his current role, he oversaw the Cyber Resilience portfolio at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for Cybersecurity, which aimed at addressing systemic cybersecurity challenges through collaboration with multi-stakeholder communities. Before joining the World Economic Forum, he was the global CISO at Etihad Aviation Group, where he directed the execution of a major holistic cybersecurity transformation program. He also headed the information technology and cybersecurity organizations for all USA entities at Thales Group. He was also a member of the IBM Security Board of Advisors and the Airbus STAR Advisory Group.
