Sascha Maier is the Group Chief Information Security Officer of the SV Group in Zurich, a leading gastronomy and hotel management group with business units in community restaurants, public catering, hotel management, and digital solutions. Before that, he was for more than 10 years the CISO of IWC Schaffhausen, the well-known luxury watch manufacturer from Schaffhausen. In his function, he was responsible for the complete IT & Information Security of IWC at all locations.
Sascha Maier is also a lecturer at Swiss Cyber Institute currently leading the ICT Manager course and has recently published the book “Business Risk Cyber-Security – Guide to Establishing a Resilient Security Ecosystem”. The book provides a basic understanding of potential cyber security threats and impacts and guides in developing a resilient security ecosystem.
Sascha Maier is a regular speaker at cyber industry-leading conferences including the Global Cyber Conference in Zurich.
