Yanya Viskovich is a specialist in human cyber risk, a lawyer, and a keynote speaker. In her 17-year career, Yanya has held a variety of legal, strategic, policy, and operational roles tackling cybersecurity from various angles, in industry and in the public sector – in Switzerland, the Middle East, the Americas, and Australia. She has prosecuted cybercrime, advised law enforcement agencies and regulators, developed UN contingency plans, and run cyber crisis simulations. She has advised and trained large global organizations, Boards and C-Suites: on cyber strategy, incident response, security awareness and GRC, and cyber and data protection risks and legal requirements, and helped draft and operationalize the UN’s first data protection policy. She serves as the Chair of the Swiss Cyber Institute’s Cyber Law & Governance Working Group and is an Advisory Board Member of IDC Europe CISO Summits. She is passionate about the outsized effect of organizational systems and culture on cybersecurity and in March 2023 gave a TEDx talk on why Burnout Culture is a Cyber Risk.
