The tension is growing: On October 22, 2025, the winners of the Swiss CISO Awards 2025 will be announced at the Gala Dinner of the Global Cyber Conference in Zurich. The prestigious award, which is being presented for the third time by EY Switzerland, honors outstanding achievements and forward-looking initiatives in the field of cybersecurity in Switzerland.
The categories and the finalists
Awards will be presented in three categories:
1. Swiss CISO of the Year
This award honors leaders who have had a significant impact on their organizations through strategic vision, operational excellence, and innovative security architectures:

2. CISO for Culture and Diversity
This category recognizes CISOs who promote a particularly inclusive security culture and use diversity in their teams as a strategic success factor:
- René Christian Gehlen, CISO, City of Zurich, Organization and IT
- Agnès Terreau, Country Data Protection & Information Security Officer, ManpowerGroup Switzerland
3. Future Leader
This category recognizes up-and-coming talents who are breaking new ground in cybersecurity with innovative ideas and a fresh perspective:

An award with radiance
The Swiss CISO Awards were created to highlight outstanding experts and leaders in the Swiss cybersecurity landscape and to give them the recognition they deserve. The award ceremony is an integral part of the Global Cyber Conference and will take place in a festive setting on October 22, 2025, at The Dolder Grand in Zurich.
