1. Scope
This agreement is made by and between Cyber Forum GmbH (Organizer) for the Global Cyber Conference (Event)
and
The speaker, who is completing this form, is confirming his/her participation at the Global Cyber Conference at Dolder Grand, Kurhausstrasse 65, 8032 Zürich, 14 – 15 September 2023.
2. Expenses and other Financial Considerations
2.1. Organizer will book and pay for single-room accommodation for Speaker (if needed) at a designated hotel in the center of Zurich City, including breakfast, as follows:
2.2. Organizer will reimburse international speakers for round-trip transportation if the flight is required. The rates are the following:
2.3. Organizer will organize Speaker’s customary ground transportation.
2.4. Organizer will provide Speaker with access to both full days of the conference including 4 coffee breaks, 2 lunches, networking Apero and an exclusive Gala Dinner / Swiss CISO Awards Night in Zurich. The participation of a Speaker at the exclusive Gala Dinner is expected.
2.5. Any expense items not specified above will be covered by Speaker (i.e., room service, phone calls, laundry, dry cleaning, in-room moves, entertainment, and limousines).
3. Agreements
3.1. The Speaker hereby grants permission to Organizer to photocopy and distribute the presentation including handouts and any related materials during the event.
3.2. The Speaker warrants and represents that the presentation, handouts, and related materials are factually accurate and contain no matter libelous or otherwise unlawful. The Speaker further warrants that such Presentations, handouts, and related materials are either
3.3. The Speaker understands that permissions granted to the Organizer under this agreement do not prohibit the Speaker from using the Presentation including handouts or other materials utilized in the Presentation for the Organizer in the future in the Speaker’s professional or personal work.
3.4. The Speaker authorizes the Organizer to use his/her name, photograph, and biographical data in connection with the use and promotion of any aspect of the Presentation including rebroadcasting on a “virtual” basis.
4. Miscellaneous
4.1. This agreement is binding on both parties and cannot be canceled except as hereinafter provided. Organizer and the Speaker mutually agree that all parties shall be released from any and all liability or damages hereunder if the Organizer or the Speaker is unable to fulfill the terms of this agreement due to an act of God, illness, or physical disability of the Speaker, acts or regulations of public authorities, labor difficulties, civil tumult, strike, epidemic, flood, fire, interruption or delay of transportation, or any other cause beyond the control of the parties. If for any reason, the Speaker is delayed or cannot appear, the Speaker will promptly notify Organizer to arrange a mutually agreeable change of date for the next edition of the event and/or a substitute Speaker. Any benefits, deposits, and/or advance reimbursements under this agreement shall be transferred to the substitute Speaker if any. If a change of date or substitute Speaker cannot be mutually agreed upon, Organizer and the Speaker agree that this Agreement is canceled and that the Speaker shall refund any deposits and/or advance reimbursements it has received from the Organizer.
4.2. This agreement shall be subject to Swiss law, excluding the conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this General Term or an Agreement shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the ordinary courts in Zurich.
