General Terms and Conditions of Cyber Forum GmbH (Swiss Cyber Institute) regarding Global Cyber Conference and other in person events (hereinafter “Services”).
1. Scople
1.1. These terms and conditions set out the rules for the registration and purchase of tickets for the Global Cyber Conference and the terms and conditions for attendance at the events organized by Cyber Forum GmbH.
1.2. These General Terms apply exclusively in combination with an Agreement. Any general terms and conditions of the Customer, which contradict or differ from these General Terms, shall only apply if they have been accepted by Cyber Forum GmbH explicitly in writing.
1.3. Cyber Forum GmbH (hereinafter “Swiss Cyber Institute” or “SCI” or “we“), is a Swiss-owned company that specializes and focused on providing cybersecurity education and organizing cybersecurity and privacy conferences as well as designing and developing online products and services.
2. Definition
2.1. You: mean every legal entity or natural person that enters into an agreement with SCI by purchasing a Pass and/or registering for the Events.
2.2. Organizer: Global Cyber Conference is organized by Cyber Forum GmbH, registered office at Höhestrasse 20, 8702 Zollikon, Switzerland, registered with Handelsregisteramt des Kantons Zürichunder UID number: CHE-287.514.070 and VAT: CHE-287.514.070 MWSt
2.3. Agreement: means the agreement between You and Swiss Cyber Institute regarding the online registration and purchasing of a pass for the Events, including these terms and conditions;
2.4. Pass: the document that serves as an admission pass for the Events, including electronic passes;
2.5. SCI Services:Global Cyber Conference, Swiss Cyber Security Community, Swiss Cyber Institute Education platform, and Online Campus, including applicable features such as but not limited to, online events, an online ticket store, and an online matchmaking platform (mobile/web app) provided by Swiss Cyber Institute.
2.6. Event or Events: In this Terms and Conditions, the cybersecurity and privacy conferences and events (physical or online) organized by and/or under the SCI brand, and being part of Swiss Cyber Institute Services, are separately referred to as an “Event” or “Events”, where necessary.
2.7. Website: the SCI websites, including – but not limited to – https://swisscyberinstitute.com/, com, and any other website used by SCI at any time;

3.1. Deviations from these Terms and Conditions shall only apply when agreed in writing between You and SCI. The applicability of any of your purchasing or other general terms and conditions is expressly rejected unless agreed otherwise by SCI in writing. By purchasing a Pass or registering for an Event You agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

4. Conclusion of Agreement
4.1. By clicking the button “Checkout”, “Continue” or “Submit” on the Website You conclude an agreement with SCI for the purchase of a Pass. Therefore it is necessary that You (i) have filled in all necessary fields on the order form and provide your name, email address and company name (ii) have accepted these Terms and Conditions. Please inform us of any special access requirements at the time of the purchase of your Pass.
4.2. By submitting registration details, You agree to allow SCI to contact You as required for the organization and administration of the Events. If SCI cannot reach You and thus cannot verify the data entered by You on the order form, SCI may cancel the reservation or your participation.
5. Type of the Passes
5.1. General Attendee: SCI defines a general attendee as an employee from an organization in charge of evaluating, purchasing, or managing resources, products, and/or services for their organization’s internal usage. A general attendee organization does not offer products, services, or solutions associated with the domain of the conference.
5.2. Vendor: SCI defines a vendor as an employee from a vendor organization with 10 or more employees, in charge of designing, delivering, promoting, selling, or servicing products and/or solutions related to the domain of the conference. A vendor organization offers products, services, or solutions associated with the domain of the conference.
5.3. Your general attendee or vendor status is determined at the sole discretion of SCI, we reserve the right to change your status at any given time.
5.4. If you are an employee from a vendor organization with 10 or more employees, in charge of designing, delivering, promoting, selling, or servicing products and/or solutions related to the domain of the conference and buying general attendee passes, SCI reserves the right to cancel the relevant Passes with immediate effect and without refund, until you pay the price difference.
6. Payment terms and registration fee
6.1. The prices for a Pass are listed on globalcyberconference.com, VAT excluded.
6.2. Payment must be done in Swiss Franc (CHF).
6.3. You must pay the registration fee prior to the start of the Event via online payment (credit card). SCI can ask for on-the-spot online payment in case no fees are received yet. There are no sales at the door of the venue.
6.4. When you register a Pass and request the ‘Invoice’ option by sending us an email at finance@swisscyberinstitute.com, you’ll be obliged to pay the invoice within ten (10) days of the invoice date. This payment method is available only for Switzerland;
6.5. SCI has the right to cancel your Pass when You don’t meet the payment deadline.
7. Transfer and Refund policy
7.1. If You are unable to attend the Event You are allowed to transfer your Pass to a third party only once. You can transfer Your Pass to a third party by sending us an email at: tickets@swisscyberinstitute.com.
7.2. Please note that the Passes purchased are for your own personal use or that of your business only and may not be resold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances. Where there has been any resale or attempted resale of any Passes for commercial gain (or any other breach of this term), SCI reserves the right to cancel the relevant Passes with immediate effect and without refund.
7.3. Purchased Passes are non-refundable. SCI will not refund your Pass if You are unable to attend.
8. Changes or cancellations of the events
8.1. In the case of an unexpected incident or force majeure, SCI reserves the right to make changes to the date and time for all parts of the Events. No refunds will be provided to You if the Event is rescheduled.
8.2. In the case of an unexpected incident or force majeure, SCI reserves the right to cancel the Events. A full refund will be provided to You if the Event is canceled.
8.3. SCI reserves the right to make changes to the Events if there is a justified reason to do so, for example, if an Events speaker is prevented from participating. Please note that while speakers and topics are confirmed at the time of publishing, circumstances beyond the control of SCI may necessitate substitutions, alterations, or cancellations of the Events speakers, and/or topics. As such, SCI reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised Events speakers and/or topics at any time without any liability to You whatsoever. 8.4. SCI is not responsible for any expenditure, loss, or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the substitution, alteration, cancellation, or postponement of an Event.

8.6. SCI reserves the right to refuse Your admission to the Events for any behavior SCI deems unacceptable, or if You breach the Code of Conduct or breach any of the Terms and Conditions.
9. Age limit
9.1. If You are under the age of 18 You are not allowed to visit the Event venues before, during, or after the event, unless permission is provided by SCI under the conditions set by SCI.
10. Intellectual property
10.1. The possession of a Pass or admission to an Event does not grant you permission to use any intellectual property, including logo, website, trademark, or any other proprietary right of SCI or any third party, such as other guests or speakers at the

11.1. The Events may be filmed and recorded by audio, visual, audio-visual, or electronic means or photographed (including footage or photographs of individuals or groups of attendees), and You must inform the photographer(s) at the Event if You do not wish to be included in any individual or group footage or photographs.
11.2. SCI, and any third party licensed by SCI, is permitted to use and distribute footage and photographs from an Event, which may feature images of You, in any media (including social media) whether now known or hereafter to be invented throughout the world in perpetuity for the purposes of advertising, publicity, reporting and otherwise in relation to the exploitation of such recordings and photographs.
11.3. Notwithstanding any clause to the contrary, You shall not have any claim to compensation or benefits or any claim, including, without limitation, claims based upon invasion of privacy, defamation, or right of publicity, arising out of any use, alteration, blurring, distortion or use in the composite form of their name, image, picture, voice, or likeness in connection with such footage or photographs.
11.4. Without the express prior written permission of SCI, You may not bring any audio or video recording devices (except for personal cell phones) into the Events.
12. Wristband and badge scanning
12.1. For security reasons and to allow access to the Events, You must wear your Event wristband and badge throughout the Event. If your Event wristband is lost, You will not be able to access the Event anymore.
12.2. By creating a GCC Events profile on a matchmaking app of the Events (web/mobile app) Your profile, consisting of your name, email address, and company name shall be visible and detectable in the Event application and on the Website.
13. Attendance at the events and liability
13.1. You are responsible for arranging an appropriate insurance cover in connection with your attendance at the Events.
13.2. SCI is solely liable to You for direct damages caused by willful misconduct or gross negligence on its part. SCI’s overall liability never exceeds the total amount of the purchase price of the Pass for the Event.
14. Privacy and data protection

15. General
15.1. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is null and void, the other provisions of these Terms and Conditions will remain in full effect.
15.2. Changes to the Terms and Conditions enter into force thirty (30) days from the day they are announced via the Website.
16. Governing law & disputes
16.1. The Agreements between You and SCI, these Terms and Conditions, and the Code of Conduct are exclusively governed by the law of Switzerland.
16.2. Any dispute arising from the Agreement, these Terms and Conditions, or the Code of Conduct will be submitted to the competent court in Zurich.
